30a-5p Under the direction of the Regional Director of Physician Practices the Nurse Manager is responsible for the planning, staffing, organizing and coordinating the operations of the Outpatient Wound/Ostomy Clinic.
Develops and implements the policies, procedures and standards of the department.
Assures the highest quality and standards of care for the patients on the unit.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.
Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.
Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Community Healthcare System policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of CHS by providing the highest quality care.
Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values:
dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Must be Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, or Liscenced Practical Nurse Wound Care Certification required Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana preferred Prior supervisory/management experience highly desirable.
